StripeCon Europe takes place for the 10th time! After Linz, London, Ljubljana, Malta, Enschede, Krems and Stockholm as well as two virtual conferences, the first conference in Germany will be held in Hamburg.<\/p>

Designed by the Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, the building stands on a former quayside warehouse. The now famous glass fa\u00e7ade rises above its red brick walls. With its curved glass panels, it reflects the sky and the water, resembling a giant crystal.<\/p> The large concert hall was developed by Japanese acoustics expert Yasuhisa Toyota and is considered an acoustic wonder. Its cladding is made of plasterboard, and no two panels are alike. This, together with the shell-shaped structure of the concert hall, ensures that the sound refracts in the best possible way at every point in the hall and thus develops the optimal sound.<\/p> The public plaza at a height of 37 m offers a spectacular 360-degree panorama of the harbour and the city. Even the way up to the plaza is impressive. Museum ships such as the tall ship \"Rickmer Rickmers\" or the \"Cap San Diego\" can be visited and show an insight into life at sea.<\/p> The listed building complex on the waterfront is the old passenger check-in hall. At its western end is the entrance to the old Elbe tunnel.<\/p> The Old Elbe Tunnel runs over 400 metres under the Elbe from St. Pauli Landungsbr\u00fccken to Steinwerder in the Port of Hamburg. It was considered a technical sensation when it was opened in 1911 and is now a listed building. Vehicles are still transported today by the historic vehicle lifts 24 metres down into the two tiled tubes.
